First stop on this tour at the ‘Say Cheese, The Amsterdam Cheese Store’.  In a private setting you will get to enjoy the finest cheeses paired with three tasty wines for an engaging, fun, and informative experience.  You will sample a variety of cheeses such as Edam, Gouda, and flavored cheeses, pesto, garlic, cumin, herbs, pepper, truffle, smoked cheese and cream cheeses.

What’s next: Visit to the Margot Market

Marigot!   Experience the sights and sounds of the world famous Marigot Market.  While touring the market take in the charm and atmosphere of vendors selling their merchandise.  Walk along the streets and enjoy the hustle and bustle of this outdoor market. Finally step into one of the irresistible French pastry shops and stock up on freshly baked French bread, exotic wines, cheeses, and sausages from around the world.  A chance for you to take home a little bit of St. Martin with you. This will be an experience you will never forget.

After we leave Marigot we will take a scenic drive though Grand Case, onward to our next stop: Rum Tasting at Rhum Gouverneur

The Rhum Gouverneur 1648 situated on the French side of the island in the town of French Cul-de-Sa c. The name of this Rhum Gouverneur is part of the island’s history. It dates to the treaty of Concordia which was signed by the Gouverneur when cane was grown in the fields of Concordia. The private Rhum tour lets you sample the different rums, smell the aroma emanating from the barrels and listen to some history about the rum making process. You will sample some of St. Maarten’s best rums and also get to make your very own drink.

Next: Lunch at a local restaurant in Grand Case

After the rum tasting it is time to relax and enjoy lunch at one of the island’s local restaurants.  Grand Case is the culinary capital of the island and is known for its excellent French Cuisine. It is also the location of the most popular beach on the French side “Grand Case”. Tourists and locals alike love this beach because of the gorgeous scenery, the variety of cafes, bistros, bars, stores, and local restaurants including the Lolos all located on the Grand Case Beach Boulevard.

Lunch includes an appetizer (Saltfish cakes or stuffed crab back), a main course (Grilled Mahi Mahi or BBQ ribs with creole rice or fries) and a dessert.

Finally, A View of St. Martin

After a day of enjoying the different culinary flavors of St Maarten/St. Martin. We will take you on a scenic drive through the French Quarter” Quartier du Orleans” which is known to be the area where the French first settled and the largest district on the French side. We will take a quick stop at the French/Dutch border for pictures.  Our final stop on the tour will be returning you safely to your pickup destination.
